Arenas & Asociados is an independent structural engineering consultancy specialized in bridge design.

We work in all aspects of structural engineering from Conceptual design and feasibility, through Tender design to Detail design, covering also Construction engineering, Site supervision and Independent checking.

We have a large specialization and experience in Signature structures including Railway and Road bridges, Arch and Cable stayed bridges, Moveable structures, footbridges, singular buildings and light-weight roofs and timber structures.

Founded in 1999 by Professor Juan José Arenas it collects his legacy of more than 50 years of dedication to bridge design.

Arenas & Asociados is a multidisciplinary team of more than 60 engineers, architects, technicians and collaborators working internationally from our offices in Spain and South America, but with global projects also in North America, Africa, Asia and all of Europe.

We have gained worldwide recognition for our contribution to bridge design and structural engineering through our projects, receiving international awards and distinctions.

We aim to develop sustainable, expressive and innovative designs based on self-developed advanced methodologies and continuous research with extensive use of parametric design and new technologies. We work in close collaboration with the administration, contractors, architects, generalist engineering consultancies and the University to solve the most challenging projects. Our commitment to quality and excellence fosters us to make the best of every project, no matter the size.
